Our Story

How We Began

In 2005, the Lord provided the vision to start a small group for women to come together in an atmosphere of intimacy, transparency, and accountability, as a way for us to grow in His Word.  On October 4, 2005, WoW2 was launched.  God blessed us with a beautiful sister who designed our logo and created bookmarks for us to share.  In January 2006, God again blessed us by providing the opportunity to hit the world-wide web.  Between 2006 and 2011, we kept track of what we were learning in our meetings via newsletter!  Via newsletter, we were also able to share other insights and documents to bless our sisters in Christ.  Unfortunately, life happened, which created a gap in our meeting history.  We also had to change website platforms.  However, in June 2013, God again proved Himself faithful, and we returned to the web with a new study and new meeting notes.  Yet again, in 2019, we have changed platforms, but we have brought forward our meeting notes and other documentation from the old website!  

What Are We Doing Now

In September 2011, God again demonstrated His faithfulness when we were able to launch Raising Godly Women (RGW).  The vision for RGW came from Titus 2:4, where the older women are admonished to teach the younger women.  Therefore, at specified times, mothers and daughters came together, so the daughters could glean from the older women.  Over time, a lot things happened.  A lot of life happened.  People came and went.  The original daughters grew up, and quite honestly, we lost our zeal for a lot of things, to include RGW.  

Eventually, God breathed new life into RGW and in September 2021, Raising Godly Women became a podcast.   Our desire is to take what we have learned here and empower a generation of women to empower the generation behind them.  We encourage mothers and daughters to listen, to study the Scripture references, and then to ask each other and God questions that will invite the Holy Spirit into your every day life, so He can guide you on your journey.  You can locate the podcast at https://raisinggodlywomen.buzzsprout.com/1792483.  From there you can find several  apps that will allow you to follow the podcast.
